FLINT Oscillator

The standard repetition rate is 76MHz (64 – 84 MHz are optional). The output power (up to 6W) can be actively stabilized by Power Lock. Spectral bandwidth within 10-30 nm (FWHM) allows achieving of the pulse duration of < 60fs with an external compressor. Piezo-actuator can be implemented in the customized oscillators in order to control the cavity length. FLINT can also be equipped with Carrier Envelope Phase (CEP) stabilization system.

Oscillator module is machined from a single monolithic aluminium block which is being cooled by water to ensure stable and robust operation. The housing of oscillator has two separate sections: cavity section and pump module section on the opposite side. Detector module, which includes a photodiode for oscillator power monitoring, is attached to the front side. The oscillator is contained in the external casing in order to reduce the impact of the environmental temperature on the performance. The special design of external casing includes three point kinematic mounts which are used to support oscillator preventing any mechanical stress caused by difference of thermal expansion between optical table and laser housing.

FLINT oscillator can be equipped with optional, wavelength converter (HIRO) providing harmonics radiation at 517 nm, 345 nm and 258 nm wavelengths.
