19.11.2020 | New Tunable Picosecond Laser from 210 to 2300 nm
The new picosecond laser PT403 delivers high up to 70 µJ at 1 kHz repetition rate and a wide tuning range from 210 to 2300 nm. Further characteristics are low beam divergence, moderate line width <8 cm-1 and short pulse duration of only 15 ps. This makes PT400 an excellent choice for many spectroscopy applications like time-resolved and pump-probe spectroscopy or laser induced fluorescence (LIF).
The existing models DPSS picosecond pump laser PL2210 and optical parametric generator PG400 have been used for more than 10 years in cutting-edge research. Based on long-term user feedback, the manufacturer Ekspla now combines these two models into one complete system. Compared to the previous solution with pump laser and OPG in separate housings, the integrated system PT403 comes with more compact dimensions, shorter installation time, lower maintenance requirements, improved laser safety and better power stability. The laser system can be controlled via LabView from your computer or from the included remote-control pad.
