11.05.2020 | Subnanosecond Lasers with 1 kHz Repetition Rate
The diode-pumped, actively Q-switched subnanosecond MPL15100 lasers deliver high peak pulse power near 1 MW at short pulse durations <700 ps and repetition rates up to 1 kHz. Standard wavelengths are 1064 nm, 532 nm, 355 nm and 266 nm.
Excellent pulse energy stability <0.5% at 1064 nm is achieved using an innovative design with short resonator and temperature stabilization. With near bandwidth-limited spectral linewidth (SLM) and very good M²<1.3 at repetition rates up to 1 kHz, pulse energies up to >0.5 mJ and low jitter of <200 ps, this model excels in spectroscopy applications like Laser Induced Fluorescence (LIF), Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) and surface ablation e.g. in mass spectrometers.
