Chemicals for Holography

For transmission and reflexion holograms and holography experiments at universities or schools, we recommend SM-6 developer and PBU-Amidol bleach. It works for VRP-M, PFG-01, PFG-03C and PFG-03M. SM-6 developer requires very low exposure compared to other developers. The required chemicals are available at every specialized trade for chemicals.

Description
Chemical
SM-6 Developer Quantity Formula
Sodium Hydroxide 12.0g NaOH
Phenidone 6.0g C6H5-C3H5N2O
Ascorbic Acid 18.0g C6H8O6
Sodium Phosphate (12H2O) 71.6g Na2HPO4
Water to 1.0L H2O
PBU-Amidol Bleach
Potassium Persulphate 10.0g K2S2O8
Citric Acid 50.0g C6H8O7
Cupric Bromide 1.0g CuBr2
Potassium Bromide 20.0g KBr
Amidol 1.0g (NH2)2C6H3OH•2HCl
Water to 1.0L H2O

Processing power

Chemical set enables one to process 1 square meter of the photomaterials or ~100 sheets (102x127mm) of PFG-01 or VRP-M film.

Work with chemicals

It is important to follow good laboratory practice while processing the photomaterials. Please make sure to take all necessary precautionary measures. Topag assumes no responsibility for any hazards related to the use of holography material or chemicals.
