Holography Plates

TOPAG offers silver-halide holographic emulsions on triacetate film and on glass plates. Materials for holography plates consist of: fine grain emulsions, Ultra fine grain emulsions (red), Ultra fine grain emulsions (panchromatic) and dichromated gelatine emulsions.

PFG-01, red sensitive holography plates: The glass plates (standard thickness 2.5mm) are coated with an emulsion. They are available in formats 63x63mm up to 406x300mm (available formats on request). Emulsions can be exposure with cw- or pulsed lasers (e.g. HeNe or laser diodes) and are suitable for transmission as well as for reflection holograms.

PFG-03M, red sensitive holography plates, high resolution: The Material PFG-03M has smaller grain (8-12nm) than PFG-01 material (40nm) and high resolution >5000 lines/mm. One can see better luminance due to small scattered light, but need high exposure power. The fine grain emulsion is suitable in particular for reflection holograms.

VRP-M, green sensitive holography plates: The glass plates (standard thickness 2.5mm) are coated with an emulsion. They are available in formats 63x63mm up to 406x300mm (available formats on request). Emulsions can be exposure with cw- or pulsed lasers (e.g. Argon, Nd:YAG lasers or laser diodes) and are suitable for transmission as well as for reflection holograms.

PFG-04, dichromatic holography plates: The dichromated gelatin holographic plates are designed for phase reflection holograms with blue or green laser. The spectral sensitivity range up covers 514 nm, 457 nm, 488 nm and 514 nm). The emulsion thickness is 16-17 um. The sensitivity reaches 100mJ/cm2 in the blue spectrum range and 250mJ/cm2 in the green. Due to its grainless structure, this emulsion has high resolving power and a diffraction efficiency of >75%.

PFG-03C, panchromatic holography plates: The Material PFG-03C has smaller grain (8-12nm) than PFG-01 material (40nm), a high resolution of >5000 lines/mm and allows realization of full colour holograms. One can see better luminance due to small scattered light, but need high exposure power. The fine grain emulsion is suitable in particular for reflection holograms.
