ORPHEUS is a collinear optical parametric amplifier maintaining the best features of TOPAS series amplifiers: high output stability throughout the entire tuning range, high output pulse and beam quality, full computer control via USB port as well as lots of optional frequency mixers to extend the tuning range from UV up to mid-IR ranges. Pumped by femtosecond lasers Pharos or Carbide, this OPA can operate at a wide range of repetition rates up to 2 MHz.
Features
- 190 nm – 16000 nm tunable wavelength
- Single pulse – 2 MHz repetition rate
- Up to 80 W pump power
- Up to 2 mJ pump energy
- Completely automated
- Integrated spectrometers for monitoring the output wavelength
ORPHEUS is a collinear optical parametric amplifier (OPA). Coupled with a PHAROS or CARBIDE femtosecond laser, ORPHEUS emits femtosecond pulses tunable from ultraviolet (UV) to mid-infrared (MIR) at a repetition rate of up to 2 MHz. Thus, it is an invaluable tool for ultrafast spectroscopy, nonlinear microscopy, and microstructuring applications.
The ORPHEUS collinear OPA comes in different configurations to perfectly match the scientific needs. The ORPHEUS‑HP accepts high-power pump and provides a wide tuning range from 630 to 2600 nm, which is extendable from 210 to 16000 nm using wavelength extensions option integrated into a thermally-stabilized housing. Its wavelength tuning and separation is completely hands-free. The ORPHEUS-HE configuration brings the aforementioned automation but also accepts high pulse energy and goes down to 190 nm with DUV extension.
For compact single-box solution, refer to I-OPA. For the PHAROS-UP ultrashort-pulse laser, refer to ORPHEUS-NEO.
